Cam’s Community Hero Spotlight: Sergeant Doug York

Honoring Our Veterans This Veterans Day 🇺🇸

At Cam’s Quick Lube, we believe heroes aren’t just found in history books. They’re our neighbors, friends, family members, and the men and women who have proudly served our country.

This Veterans Day, we’re honored to recognize our Community Hero, Sergeant Doug York, a proud veteran of the United States Marine Corps.

Doug served our nation from 1973 to 1977, stationed in Okinawa, Japan. During his service, he worked as a parachute rigger, a critical role responsible for inspecting, maintaining, and packing parachutes and related equipment. It was a job that demanded precision, discipline, and attention to detail, knowing that the safety of fellow service members depended on getting it right.

The Marine Corps is built on the values of Honor, Courage, and Commitment, and we are proud to recognize Doug for his service and dedication to our country.

At Cam’s, our Community Heroes program is about more than discounts or recognition. It’s about taking the time to appreciate the people who have made a difference through their service, sacrifice, and commitment to others.

Sergeant Doug York, thank you for your service. We’re proud to honor you as our Veterans Day Community Hero!

From our family at Cam’s Quick Lube to all who have worn the uniform, Happy Veterans Day!
